わたしの好きな歌 “Wetem yu”

この歌は、日本では「切手のないおくりもの」として知られている歌です。

私が在籍している日本の学校でも離任式や６年生を送る会で歌われています。

JICAの過去の隊員がこの歌をビスラマ語に訳しています。この歌詞を読んだとき、本当に素敵な訳詞だと感じました。今、音楽を巡回指導していますが、この歌を教えました。先生達の中にもJICAボランティアから習って知っている方がいます。

今回は、そんな私の好きな歌　”Wetem yu”を紹介します。

Watashi kara anata e kono uta o todokeyou

Hiroi sekai ni tata hitori no watashi no suki na anata e

１～３番はビスラマ語、４番は日本語です。子供たちは日本語の歌詞も上手に歌います。

みなさんに動画をお見せしたいのですが、ブログではできないので残念です。

ビスラマ語はローマ字読みで発音すれば、よいので１番の歌詞はこのようになります。

英語だとおそらくこのようになります。英訳もつけておきます。

今、日本のある学校と交流を計画中です。この学校の先生は以前JICAボランティアでバヌアツのタンナ島に配属されていました。

バヌアツと日本の子供が交流できるのは素晴らしい体験になることでしょう。

I am teaching a famous song of Japan for children in Vanuatu.

An ex JICA volunteer translated Japanese lyrics into Bislama before.

These lyric of Bislama are very nice. I like them.

That is way I decided to teach this song.

Children in Vanuatu are good at singing not only in Bislama but also in Japanese.

I want to show the video for you. But sorry I cannot upload on this blog.

We will make plan to communicate with Japanese students.

It will be a good experience for children between Vanuatu and Japan.
